How do you choose which brands to carry?
We don’t believe in selling stuff just to sell stuff. We select brands who are equally committed to the mission of sustainability. What does it mean to be an ethical/sustainable business? There are many definitions – below are just some of the criteria we look for in brands that we carry. We evaluate our brands on their commitments to the following areas:
- People: Fair trade labor practices. No child labor. Living wages. Safe working conditions. Diversity.
- Planet: Reducing carbon emissions. Reducing energy and water usage. Using sustainable materials like deadstock, organic natural fibers, and recycled polyester. Use of non-toxic dyes and other chemicals.
- Practices: Circular design. In-house waste reduction. Eco packaging. Responsible oversight of supply chains and transportation. Transparency.
How do I know what my size is?
Each brand that we carry may be unique in their size tolerance and scale, therefore we have provided size charts for each individual brand on individual product pages.
